In the immortal words of Buckwheat - "Me too, neither!"

I've tried to like it, even after I was repulsed by the original photos. I still wanted to give it some love because it's the next Evo. It's just that it looks like a Mazda or something. Then after seeing the concept red Ralliart X that someone posted (might have been a photoshop job, but it was cool) I thought it looked a lot better and maybe the final product would look more aggressive like that. Then the prototype pics made me feel like there was hope yet again (not gorgeous, but better looking than the initial pics). But now with these new photos I'm back to square 1. It doesn't look like an a$$-kicking car and I don't like the lack of continuity of some of the lines. It looks like a Mazda 3 and a Hyundai Santa Fe had a bastard child.

I guess I should wait to see one in person and not totally judge it off of photos alone. After all, I saw the new Lancer at my dealer, and in the blue color it's an attractive car. Hopefully the Evo X looks better in person than it does in pics...

So true. People b1tch for the sake of b1tching.

And that's exactly where this thread is gonna go. These pictures will be posted another 10 times by originators claiming that this is news.

The only thing I can't get into is the overly long snout nose on this thing. I really like the wing, rear, and wheels (look like STi spec C BBS):

They toned it down a little too much for production. I really liked how aggressive the prototype looked. Mitsubishi did a great job redesigning the Lancer in general but there just isn't enough uniqueness about the Evo to set it apart. Evo owners buy Evos because they're unique!

patheticness.... If you ever look and recognize all generation of Lancers from I to the present. the have all similarities. Example an Evo IV have greater similarities on Lancer 97/Mirage 5th gen and even the EVO VIII have similarities on USDM lancer 02.
