Evo X REAL WORLD PHOTOS
How can you say that? You don't even know how the X will perform yet. And
says it will outperform the 8 and 9.
That being said, the car is bigger, you can get navigation, has optional semi automatic paddle shifted transmission, etc. I dont know how you could say it didnt lose some of its rough around the edges characteristics. The minimalist edge I spoke of has nothing to do with performance capabilities or numbers, settle down Beavis.
Looks and options wise this car seems to be in step with its natural genetic mutation, shedding it's core for another mold is maybe another step towards loosing its Bad A$$ status to some of its fans, but that has yet to be determined. Although I must add one thing, the technology in the suspension has been available in Japan for quite a few years...and has finally made it stateside soooo...I think the only thing left that I am waiting for, is official pricing.
well looking at the new pix of the black and the gray i think the gray is what NA version will be its left hand drive and the black was right hand drive the rims are the only difference i can see in the 2 so far

BTW, After thinking about it, I think they changed the wheel arch flares back to look like Evo9's simply because so many people were complaining about it having no connection to its predecessors.
Marginally.
So? Be glad. Having navigation isn't anti-performance.
Optional is the key word here. PS - that trans shifts faster and more efficiently than you can.
Being minimalist != having an edge.
A car can have navigation and still have it's edge.

I know, you weren't really knocking it, but keywords are you can get and optional - those are just options you can have...or not. Yeah, it's slightly bigger, but a Porsche 997 GT3 is bigger than 996 GT3 - and it still whips ***. Just like a 911, you can make the X into anything you want - a stripped down MR racer or a bulked up land cruiser with a nav system and four 12" woofers. They are simply trying to attract more buyers, while still giving performance for that crowd. I think that's probably part your point, but it comes off as saying just because they are offering more options, the car is more watered down - when it doesn't HAVE to be.
