Biggest problem with Evo X styling...

That car makes me sick, i know my opinion doesn't matter to anyone. Like claudjrh said.. it kind of looks like an EVO mix w/ a TL. It looks just a little too sophisticated (im sure i spelled that wrong). To me, idk it just doesn't look like it would be fun to mod. Sure the EVO looks a little boy racerish.. but to me that's what makes any great modding car fun to mod.. supras..s2k's...evo's...etc.. You dont see too many TL's that are modified, not that it's a bad looking car.. but it just looks like something more civilized.. and i think the same goes for this

I actually kind of agree with what the original poster is saying(although I don't think that we needed a whole new thread for this topic). I never really noticed the rear fenders until now, and it looks a little STR-4ish to me. Other than that I think that the X is gonna be a awesome car, especially for daily driving. I am glad that I have my IX tho.

I think the original X mock up looks pretty good....not too sure that the production will look much better than the GTS, but it's not so bad. Hope the MR X is a little bit more like the Mockup. Personally, as I have said everywhere...I'll take a copy of the IX and a copy of the X. The X is definitely EVOLUTIONARY...It has taken years to produce the IX, the VIII is like the X is to what the XI will be :P...the IX is definitely an awesome car, and as for pictures and in person....pictures usually just suck unless carefully taken. Some of the posts on this thread are pretty funny =).
we don't need to ask you why...we already know. it's because you're blind, and a moron. the EVO X looks great, and will be an absolute beast. And we FINALLY get AYC in the US. i don't see why everybody's complaining anyway. 99.9% of the people who complain about the car have no intentions of ever buying one in the first place. no matter what it would look like, most of the people complaining aren't buying a new car anytime soon so they should just shut up. somebody said something about the car looking too much like a TSX, or TL as if it's a bad thing. the TSX and TL are both damn sexy automobiles, and are built to a MUCH higher standard of quality, fit, and finish than any Mitsubishi product will likely ever be. the EVO should only HOPE to be compared in the same category as those two cars in terms of quality, and design.
only thing i hate about x is tail light. Saw many new lancers drive by and it just dont look right(too high!)
I like dual exhaust but i bet X catback is going to be atleast 50% more expensive than 8-9 catback due to useless dual exhuast on 4 cyl.
Hope US gets same bumper as shown above. Not like 8-9 rear bumpers.
Are they really going to use X design for rallying? or they given up.
