The article say there will be plenty of room to upgrade the turbo. I think while Mitsubishi is trying to appeal the EVO X to the general public, they haven't forgotten the aftermarket scene.

Let's just hope the SST will be Mod-friendly.

Well, TD05H is a larger exhaust side. TD05 is what is used on the normal 20g. I am not sure on the other numbers, I wll do some checking on it and post back if I can find anything.

The frame is the TD05H, that is the same they have been using for quite some time. It will not be a reverse scroll like the IIIV and IX. The numbering system seems to be different from what they have used in the past. 152G, I would guess is like a 15.2G. That is the compressor wheel size, in which the actual diameter would be smaller than the current 16g. That does not mean flow has gone down though. The 12t correlates to a compressor wheel size used in mitsu turbo's for Audi's, but is pretty small and couldn't be used in the Evo I don't think (used on S4's).

That is all I could come up with and is just my interpretation.

The Evo X's TD05H-152G6-12T turbo is a conventional-rotation unit instead of the reverse-rotation config of the past several Evo iterations.

152G6 denotes a difference from the 16G compressor wheel aero of the outgoing Evo, but specific differences to the map haven't been communicated. It is, in fact, a smaller trim (inducer diameter) than the older turbo. Comparing a smaller trim of a different wheel aero doesn't tell you anything about the map, though.

The Evo X's turbine wheel aero is the same as the IX's TD05, save for being conventional-rotation now. It does have a larger turbine housing (12T vs 10.5T) than the IX.
