Look at the weight area. I'm not sure if i'm understanding it. it says "JDM Spec".
Why would they use the JDM spec weights?

Steering ratio is 13.3:1 which isn't any different from the 8 and 9. Wonder why the reviews say that the steering response wasn't as fast as before.

We should start a betting pool on the weight of the US version.

Don't forget the EVO X's body and chasis is totally different, more weight , longer wheelbase, wider track(front and rear), etc...

But some review said not that big difference, To be sure, wait I untill I test drive the EVO X and compare with my EVO IX RS.

May have to do with suspension geometry such as castor or power steering boost. It means that it may be possible to sharpen the response with mods that don't involve changing the rack.

More interesting is that the powertrain warranty has been cut.

Anyone notice that Canadian evo is "longer" ?

Length (in./mm) 177.0/4495 (Canada: 178.9/4545)

Probably, it has something to do with Canadian law concerning bumpers and
low speed crash.

Is the turning radius different than the VIII and IX because that was an issue with most owners?
