I particularly like the headlights. Too bad they'll probably never make it to production... Sweet lookin' hatch though, that's for sure. Who knows? Maybe with Subaru's move with hatches in the US, Mitsu might want to put something up against it.

i want one. it was originally supposed to be an evo, and then they decided just to make it a detuned ralliart, and then there were rumors it was going to have a Evo IX drivetrain, without the AYC... just wish it would get here already. i want a hatch.

it's definitely coming out, but what version if any ends up here is the question.

Now this is a hatchback done right, I just hope Mitsubishi is smart and will bring the hatchback to the US as my wife soon will need a new car This looks even better than the Euro Focus which I think is the best looking hatchback to date. Mazda 3 hatchback, while a good performer, just doesn't look right in my opinion, the rear is all messed up. Mitsubishi, for gods sake, bring the hatchback to US!!!!!!!!

EDIT: and oh yeah, this definitely also looks better than the new regular Lancer sedan, especially the rear and its tail lights...

What would you suggest we do to demonstrate our desire for this hatch to Mitsubishi? Get a petition going? Individually email mitsubishi?
