Somehow I cant picture running into this in the streets... Be it today tomorrow or 17 years from now I'll still feel weird around that thing...

Actually this wheel design is already in use by forklifts and actually it is pretty cool stuff, this thing would probably be great offroad and in a city parallel parking :P Anyway, here is a link of a forklift using similar movement technology: http://blip.tv/play/hVbO504A
