You're right. The sales manager at my Mitsu dealership lied, he said it was the Montero Sport. I did some more research on it and it is very impressive.

that's nut's I took my 08 X in the sand and burried it, I had to have it towed out, LOL it was fun though!!! I have pictures I need to post them! Also when off roading turn the ASC off, or it will try to stop the car when the wheels spin, it thinks it's skidding, and starts braking, thus leads to a stinky/ soon to be shot clutch.

its clear every racing version of a street car is completely different to its counter part, one drastic case is dtm which does not share one part, not one with its street version, yet some how they are all still recognizable as the same car and to your perception have the same proportions, but this thing has not one thing resembling a lancer, yes you cant tell it has the mitsubishi signature but if they didnt call it a lancer their is no way you would link them two in any way possible, youll probably think its some sort of mitsu jeep or suv (a pajero or montero), there for its almost ridiculous, its as if they are desperate to link the hole lancer effort and its marketing strategy to some racing form, what ever it is, being that they are out of the wrc then maybe dakar will do, they dont have many more choices, i think they will also be out of dakar soon, well i surely hope not.

but who cares, this is completely bad ***, love this race and the cars and bikes racing in it, i would love to race this one, and this race car is within my top favorite race cars, for sure.
