Wait. So this is a 2010 model being launched well into 2011 production year?

I would have taken this over my GSR had it been an option at the time. I don't see what the fuss is about charging more for an auto transmission. That's pretty much the standard formula, and it's nice to have a variety of options, regardless of what suffix is appended. As long as options are added rather than taken away it seems like a net positive. More than anything else, I want Mitsubishi to sell as many Evo X's as they can so that we can look forward to the XI and continued aftermarket support.

ruh roh. did anyone see the 2011 STi first drive on motortrend that was posted just the other day? if you watch it all the way they ask "but will it be enough to fend off the lancer evolution? stay tuned...." hmm that makes my nipples hard just thinking about it

If it can pull a lap in under 8 minutes, it will own the Evolution. Then again the one they tested at the ring wasn't stock, and we all know that modded evo's are beastly.

Lets hope Mitsu has something up their sleve. But I think we are going to have to wait for the XI to have any shot at sub 8 runs.

Red Stitched Seats, Diff. color BBS, Lower Lip and a Badge made it the best period.. WOW

Now this X SE will give the same thoughts to people regarding the X Would you pay the 36K if it had a GT-R Badge on it.

Mitsubishi just needs to stop building evolution X and continue with R&D.

If I was Mitsubishi

If i was Mitsubishi, i would use the front and back bumpers form the EVO X FQ, and bring the sport back into the mix for 2011. The STI is coming out with a new look for 2011 and you need to keep up. lol
