2012 info now available

Evo
At-A-Glance
Overview

Lancer
At-A-Glance
Overview

Sportback
At-A-Glance
Overview

It looks like the changes for the Evo are pretty minimal:
A gloss-black trim for the instrument panel, black sport fabric and soft touch door panels in the interior lend a premium feel and are new for the 2012 model year.
Also, there is info on the new Lancer SE model.

2012 Lancer SE soon-to-be owners... rejoice! it is coming with the 168hp 2.4L

Thanks for the info RaX!

There's a bunch of stuff I now want for my 2011 Evo :S

Like the soft-touch material... auto dimming-mirror with camera inset... and hum... that's about it I guess lol

This kind of sucks as I was looking into the new SE but if they're only going to make it in a CVT model then no thanks, I'll just go with the GTS.

I hope the GT isnt 4WD or you have the option to be 2 or 4 wheel. I understand the competitiveness with subaru on the impreza but the lancer handles better 2wheel drive. 4wheel needs the turbo cause of weight. Just my $0.02 looking to get a GT for next year cause of the ralliart look glad I waited!

The SE is going to be the only NA AWD on the Lancer line up. Which is basically for the people who want AWD but dont want to spend 30K+. However it is only going to have CVT available which IMHO I think is to keep people from turbo'ing them and getting Evo performance which sucks big time but is smart on Mitsu's behalf. Not bashing but I doubt very higly a GT 2WD will out handle a AWD Evo or RalliArt ANY DAY.

I didnt say lancer would out handle a evo at all. It does how ever do better in skid pad that the ralliart. I said that cause Id rather see the GT keep same skid pad #s and I was emplying that awd would hinder those #s and more loss of hp to the wheels that what it already is.

Thanks goodness they didn't release more options for the 2012 as I just bought a 2011 EVO GSR.

Knew it wouldn't happen but I was still hoping for like a 2.4 and 50 extra HP to match its massive weight. Gonna have to spray it to keep up around town.
