Chinese version of Lancer model
No. I simply am glad I don't live in china. Just like I'm glad I don't live in Palestine (which is where I'm from btw), why are you so sensitive. This isn't even about china. It's about the car. I dont't like the car lol that car is sold in china. Thank god I don't live in china because I don't want to buy that car. Does this make more sense? Not trying to offend anyone and I'm not dissing anyone's country.
The headlights say 3 series the taillights say IS/VW Jetta Mk5 hybrid.
I can deal with the taillights because they are not a 1:1 copy of anything per se, but the headlights really scream leftovers from BMW parts production (at some chinese plant).
If they managed to use the current Lancer headlights that would actually look like a really nice car, way more so than the regular Lancer that is sold IMHO.
But the straight up copy headlights reminds me of S15 front end conversions on civics or that sort of practice and we all know that has never been cool.

This is the model sold in Taiwan...
The guy in the video is Taiwanese...
I'm Chinese. But I don't go around telling all the Americans that the Chrysler 200 is ugly and how the **** do they even justify making pick ups...
I just don't buy it.
TBH, all this things about made in China things is cheap is because *you* the american consumers made it that way. If you learnt your model of economics, you will learn something called consumer sovereignty, in which you vote for the survival of firms with your dollars. So in the current state of things, it certainly seems like you did not put your money where your mouth is.
PS. Chinese made iPad $500, if USA made it, it would $1,140. Sure you would be able to afford it, until inflation kicked in yo

When people chime in and have no idea what they are talking about. Obvioulsy if the American Market liked the car, it would look like that here. It's obviously not like that so what does everyone think the researches found? It wouldn't sell as well in the American Market hence why it doesn't look like that. I personally don't mind it.
@Europe4life - Things in China are cheap because half the world buys it from them. They can afford to lower the price because the quantities that are sold.
The lack of grammar in this thread is also
Edit: I didn't see a price for it...anyone know it?

Bunch of idiots posting on this thread. It state as the "chinese version of the Lancer", it doesn't mean it was copied off or knock off of the Lancer. The guy is doing a review for the Mitsubishi Lancer for the asian market, that was the model that was released there. It actually looks a lot better than most the cars we get here in the US.

I'm not sure how US decide on which cars are sold in US but by the looks of all these UGLY cars we have, I feel that what is sold is decided by the American branch of these foreign companies.
