none of these updates are a threat to the warranty. and any more power would require a host of improvements that would substantially raise cost. a sad, but not unexpected ending.

It's a sad end to the Evo that I replayed previous Evo YouTube videos.

when Mitsubishi was...Mitsubishi. It's now ****subishi. Not long before that video was made they had created a true special edition known as the TME that we all know and love. That car was as close to the WRC car as Mitsubishi could sensibly make it! Titanium turbo and so forth. Optional from the factory WRC livery as well... that was going out with a bang! Fast forward to today and they're adding sodium exhaust valves ( impressive a decade ago),number plaques, and crappy white pearl paint. Once im done picking on evos & stis ill sell my ms3 and buy a 8 or 9. IMO the 8 RS has always been the most "evo like" one we have been offered

The Evo 8, introduced for sale in the USA in 2003 had/has sodium exhaust valves. I don't get why people think this is a new thing with the Final Edition?

To everyone on the pricing. I work at a mitsu dealership and all we've heard is reasonable and that the final edition is a GSR replacement. That we'll no longer receive anymore evos of any trim other than final. So my estimation would be that it will be very near GSR trim.

So you think it will be priced lower than the MR edition? Also do you know if there is a Rockford Fosgate option on these?

Pretty sure all options outside of the basic options outlined will be dealer installed.

Pricing hasn't been announced also but I can't imagine its higher than the MR.

Right now realistically if you can find any 2015 MR which imho i've never seen you'd be around 42k. A 2015 GSR is going for 38k before rebates, and discounts.

We just sold our last 2014 GSR today. Im pretty sad I wanted to post it up here but it sold so quick I didn't get a chance to.

2014, 32k, 17k miles on it and a transferable warranty. It was virtually sold right after the car was washed and set in the front.

We've still got 1 GSR 2015 in grey. Im trying to see if we can get recaros installed into it since people want it so much but, I don't know if people want it enough to pay the price.

Business 101: We release a 2015 with basic interior package, and then make a final edition with a premium package (which is already included in previous years) but we're gonna hike up the price since this is the last Evos. Siiighh...

So these red accented seats gonna be the lame non-recaros? Such a shame.

Before you say that have you owned the last platform? I'd love the evo so much I went thru them all LOL. 2003,2005,2006 and now the 2015 FE. When I was in my 20's I could handle the harsh ride. Today I'd rather drive my Evo X with bilisteins as a daily ride and save the last generation for track or weekend car.

I can't really feel that much difference between the 2005+ to my X except that the evo X has stronger brakes. My Evo X actually feel faster than my other evo's stock. More mid end punch. However the last gen feels more racecar. Love the momo wheel and liked the older tranny better.

I've only driven my friends 8, it is a bit of a harsh ride. Which is why I'm looking forward to the bilsteins
