maybe wat he is trying to say is that if mitsu will only be making 800 units period or more on later years(not just 2005)? perhaps a evo9 mr or so, if im not mistaking...which brings the question, anyone have rumors when the evo 9 or the next evo(watever #) will be coming out (rumors if not actual facts, anything)? thanks for your time.

LOL...um, yeah, good luck with that. You might also want to scotch tape directions to the nearest Subaru dealership right next to your price tag.

But then, as they say, there's a sucker born every minute.

think about it sherlock. people will never offer to pay more, they will always say well can i get it for a few thousand less. so theres room for negotiation. no matter where we start it someone will talk us down. if we start it at $10 someone will say ok ill give you 5 bucks.

A lot of the better car dealerships (no Mitsu dealers I've seen, however) have "no haggle" policies in place and just put their best price on the window. I don't see any *good* reason why buying a car should be different than buying a couch or a television.

Do you talk to potential customers like that when they come in the dealership? Too bad I am not in your area, cause I feel like I'm missing some great customer service in not buying from you. Especially since I have MSRP in writing, Sherlock...

but back on topic, this follows the same principle as milk. i work at a grocery store and i'll tell you that we carry 2 brands of each kind of milk. the best part is that both brands are distributed by the same company and are the same EXACT milk, only one costs $4.09 and the other costs $3.49. This is so the rich can feel richer and the poor can feel like they're still getting deals. (it's legal because you pay for the label) some people are going to buy their mr and feel like they got the best thing money can buy, and are rewarded with a special edition color and a few other trinkets. people who buy the gsr or rs will still be happy with their purchase knowing that they spent as little as possible to save room for mods or even to save face on their payment. i also understand that everyone who wants a mr will probably not get one based on the supply-demand curve; that's really why it's "limited edition."
sounds convincing

ok i guess you know then, but thats being honest. the evo has been nothing but a curse to me because i do test drives all the time, but nobody has the intent of buying. the only dealership i know of that does a set price are saturns

Someone would have to be one of 2 things to by a MR for around $40k:

1. A stupid retard
2. A multi-millionaire

Please anyone out there, DO NOT but a MR for those kind of prices. The more dealerships that actually sell a $40k EVO, the more that will sell them at those types of prices.

Don't be a stupid retard...
