we are original, ok, when this so called "Evo MR" just kidding, yes when the evo mr comes out, many people are going to like it and look down upon us evo owners. anywho with a few modifications your car too can be fast or even faster than an evo MR, as for looks whoop dee doo, go buy some mr tails and headlights, as far as im concernerd there are MANY evos as of now on the forums that look nicer than an mr, but for all of you that will trade your evo in for an mr, my best wishes to you, and i hope you have fun

man, IT'S THE SAME FRIGGIN ENGINE....... the only reason anybody would get the MR is becasue the ACD+front lsd

 

YEA ACD and lsd are the point of getting one

 

the GSR, RS, and MR get E-ACD and front LSD...
the only reason to get the MR would be for the 6MT, Vortex spoiler, bilstein shocks, Graphite Gray paint, black spoiler, BBS rims, aluminum roof (RS too), MR floor mats, MR id plate, and the MR package. everything else is the same as the GSR and RS.

 

sounds like a lot of "only reasons"

 

an MR with the same or similar mods will be faster in a straight line. better gearing and less weight. a stock MR will also beat an '03 in the turns due to revised suspension, FLSD, ACD, and lower center of gravity.

 

hmmmmm, most things in a mr can be bought an put into an '03, excluding the 6 speed mt. :| i dont know. i guess im the only one satisfied with my '03.

i think most people want the MR just b/c it is the "MR"...if i didn't have a 03...i would get the MR too just b/c it is THE "MR"...most people want the highest trim level of the car

 

im refering to the trading in of an '03. hence the name of this thread is "im happy with my '03"

 

Most people would rather have the MR, but very very few would have the driving skills necessary to make full use of the MR's advantages on a race track. Unless you want to be competitive in scca or just want to brag about the car, why worry about it.

 

The one thing every '03 owner will be able to boast about their car when comparisons are drawn to the '05:

They've had the pleasure of having their car as much as over 18 months already.

You can't buy that, add it in as an option, or offer that in a new trim level. Period.
