...becuase that's not cf
...becuase that's not cfBut seriously, I thought the JDM MR was an all carbon fibre wing, why would there be a paint code at all? Its just the natural color of the weave.

Don't forget those high $$$ BBS wheels they have to pay extra for as well.
I thought the JDM MR wing was all CF too. I'm pretty sure one of the Best Motoring guys said it was on one of their dvds. Maybe it's JDM exclusive or everyone was mistaken? You'd think the BM guys could recognize CF weave.
The whole wing is pretty much made out of CF even the sides from what I saw. I got a nice rock chip the size of a peanut M&M when you bite half of it on the passenger upright portion of the wing underneath the paint was CF.
Just to add fuel to the fire, from the Mitsubishi Motors press guide (page 4) on the Evo8: (dated Jan 2003)
"The rear spoiler uses carbon fiber reinforced plastic for both the horizontal and vertical components - a first for a 4-door production sedan. Suggestive of the vertical tail on a jet fighter and body colored keyed on its outboard surfaces only."

Technically I think it is still correct. The vertical parts on the inside of the wing are still CF. It just isn't all CF.

And the U.S. is getting the carbon fiber e-brake handle. Now if is fake carbon fiber I have no clue.
