THe US 05 MR DOes not have the dark taillights or the Dark sided wing. THe wing is body color on the sides. There is an MR badge on the right bottom corner of the trunk lid. It has the grey BBS Rims which look alright and the vortex generator which looks, well like what it is, functional.

$32k is listed price and 276 hp, 286 ft lbs tq.

Were only getting 276hp and 286 lb/ft torque?! Were getting gipped of nearly 100hp! Even with that I'll probably end up selling my 2K3 Evo for one anyhow.

 

100 hp? Mitsu has claimed 276 since day one for the MR. that's about the same as the JDM Evo8 Mr.

You are confusing the figures with the UK spec MR-FQ 340. That car is not available for the JDM even. The Figures Mits has quoted from day one are 276 and 286.

oh well black out the head and tail lights and get a tarmac black wing and ill be ready to go.

 

I am pissed about not getting the blacked out tail lights because after I buy Evo VII lights the resale on the OEM will be lower.

Someone in the UK dyno'ed a standard MR300 (same as JDM GSR) at 321.8 bhp...and considering it is listed as having 276, that's not bad. One thing that confuses me is why they'd remove the dark rear wing and replace it with a body coloured one?

also, and I don't know if they've increased production, but I thought the MR was limited to 2000 units worldwide...so where are the US getting theirs?

 

the only one that is getting the dark wing...is the graphite color....and mitsu may have axed that idea too. Because when they originally came out with the WHATS NEW FOR 05 it said graphite gray with dark wing. Then a bit later they revamed the WHATS NEW FOR 05 and they took the "with dark wing" off. So go figure.

i checked out the cargomag.com website and it said nothing about the evolution mr or any car for that matter. only the 5 top motorcycles for 2005 were on the website. Stupid site if you ask me. Still no real hard news about the mr's taillights and headlights.
