vfq-400 evo mr
In the new CAR mag from europe there is an article on a new evo coming out in the fall. It's called the vfq 400 evo mr It's a rally art tuned factory backed evo with 400-450 hp rebuilt block new turbo and much more there will only be thirty made and they are for europe only.
0-60 under 4 seconds and a top speed around 170 and at the cool price of 45,000 Pounds whatever that is in us currency (maybe close to 60, not sure) pretty badass car thoe, to bad none for us.

Man i'd have to have my head examined if I bought that....
Anyone else wonder why mitsu is going under... lol They should focus more on customer service rather then building "tuned" cars...
just for you information the current rs evo 8 in england costs 26995 GBP, or exactly 49,500.72 USD. their evos over there cost alot more than ours over here. 80k is still pretty silly though, but that is alot of performace from a off the shelf car. i wonder what turning up the boost on that car would make it capable of? kinda neat but completely silly since you can get 400 bhp out of a normal evo for so cheap.
oh, and i bet it is so expensive because they completely build a normal evo mr, then take it back apart to do all the internals and modifications at another location than the original plant they are made at. that is how all the fq packages are done in england currently. thats how things get so expensive, they are very inefficient about it. if they build 5000 of them the price would come way down, but i think they are building some tiny # of cars. if you want an m3 gtr with the m5 v8 in it, those cost several hundred thousand i believe. silly stuff.

Incidentally, it's only the FQ versions that have modification done after registration. Of course, I haven't checked out the different models back home recently so it's possible all MRs are FQ models anyway.
The FQ mods have to be done after registartion too. Due to emissions regulations etc...I think 45k for possibly the quickest saloon (acceleration wise and from a-b at least)in the world is a bargain
