I guess we'll have to see what the *real* price for an MR is vs taking and 05 MR or RS putting a set of coilovers on, some lighter 18x9s, and if you really must, the 6 speed in, and comparing expense. I don't think the resale value of the MR is going to be any different than the plummeting other two. But I guess we'll have to wait a few more weeks to see if the improvements are worth it. It looks like they may, but not if it runs $35k+.

The reloation kit? You only need one if you have a cubby in lower din thus having guages already, meaning it comes with everything you need. Just remove 2 lower din screws and 2 screws behind the climate control knobs. Pull lower din and fake aluminum panel off and swap out. You'll realize there are 4 screw holding the guages and 4 for the radio. Plug/unplug and done

VAT is 17.5%, then you have import tax on top of that...it works out that after all taxes and import duties, the car is ~£24k-25k...so the remaining 5 is between the CCC and the dealer....bloody governmet rips us off!...I think the markup on petrol (gas) is something like 500% tax!!!

I had the dealership do it for me when I picked up my '03 Evo with the optional gauge package.

If we aren't getting that unique interior, I'm not getting the MR.

This sucks. I want it all if I am going to take a bath on my current EVO 8..Why do it for a tranny and what not??!

Interesting pic. On the JDMs the parking brake handle is closer to the driver.

I think most automakers leave the e-brake location alone between LHD and RHD versions of the same car.

hopefully there will be some slack in the wires for those guages so they could be moved if you want!
