I like the other things but I won’t trade my EVO and loose 10k just for couple things. The MR is faster than our EVOS but I am sure it will require much more maintenance. Great car not for every one though.
Im getting it for MSRP son, Its build date was August 23rd. Your wrong with the markup for some people like me. Its not worth it for current owners, but its dumb for these current owners to be hating on a better car then theres.

I dunno guys.

I respect all of your opinions but I really don't think 2k4EvoVIII was hating/bashing/whatever at all. If the MR is really going to be around 33-34k, I would say he is wrong (still a subjective matter) but I really have seen alot more gratuitous hating of the MR than this. He was just answering a question and expressing a bit of his opinion along with it.

dude do you speak or read English. I don’t hate the car in fact I love it. The problem that future MR owners thinks they have the best EVO in the world . I might buy one myself for my wife. By the way I want to see the MSRP when you buy it because I just don’t and cant see 1000 units sold for MSRP when ton of people want to get he car. Their are people out there with bag full of cash money ready to pay. SON learn basics before you post quantity = high price

Or you can just buy an Elise and rip the MR's *** out. Sorry, if the MR's price plus markup goes too high, they will price themselves right out of their market.

Yup no doubt signed on my contract. I signed up for the car in like April and I told them I wanted MSRP and he had no problem giving to me for that. Its a car that wont sit on the lot, an easy sale. I guess you need to know how to talk to them to get what you want And of course I speak English silly rabbit!

Look I know that you are making a right choice here and I have nothing against you in fact I will be happy for you if you get it MSRP ( fu$k Mitsu ). I have bought more than 8 cars since yr 2000 and that includes: GTI 1.8T, GTI VR6, S2000, Civic SI, RSX type S. GTI 91 MK2 16 V, GTI 86 8V, MR2, Passat1.8T, S4, R32 what’s the count now? The DMV is lost when they send me paper work for my cars. I know how to buy cars in fact my R32 was only 28K (only). However when it comes to a car that they make 1000 units its hard to do. Dealers always always lie their is no contract between you and them until you buy the car when its on the lot ( I would like to see it if their is one) When you see the car you will fall in love and they will say oh price is up and most likely you will say F$$$ it $3000 more worth it. Good luck and let us know.

true, if you're talking about WRC cars with ~500 ft-lbs. of torque available from about 2000 rpms. but the 6-spd in an MR is a good thing.

I believe the JDM MR has different cam profiles from the regular VIII. I don't know whether the USDM gets this or not. Emissions may not allow it.

I suspect that all USDM engines will have the same spec due to certification costs.
