The White JDM cluster that VIVID RACING sells goes to 300 km/hr which i believe is 180 mph.

Fits Evo VIII TOO

The cross weight sorta bothers me. Any reason you can think of why the RF and LR are so heavy?

Someone put a 4 cylinder turbo motor in the right front corner of the car explains the heavy right front.

The junk in the trunk (noted on the weights page) was more to the driver's side. There is also 10 lbs of emissions junk under the left rear 1/4 panel.

If the floor isnt perfectly level it will also effect the corner weights. Not the total weight however. The guy that loaned us the car was nice enough to allow us to poke and prod it, put it on the lift and waited patiently as we weighed it and weighed his junk so we didnt have enough time to put the car on the place on the shop floor that we know is totally level.

Thanks for clearing that up (sorta). I was wondering because the RS and GSR that were weighed don't have the same issue.

Hi Mike

Did you get a good look under the car?? I'm curious if the ACD or anything else has caused exhaust routing to change and if aftermarket exhausts for the current evo will be a direct fit on the 05s.

Thanks

I looked under the MR on Sunday, the current downpipes and cat backs should be fine.

Thanks, I've been wondering about that. I've also been wondering about how to change out the antenna under the vortex spoiler. I'm guessing it pops out? Anyways I'll live with it if I have to but those antennas really do make Evos look like big RC cars.

I think you would just unscrew it like always. I have an s2000 antenna already so I will let you know as soon as I can.

When I got the Vortex Generator, the instructions require you to unscrew out the antenna first and then fit the VG over it.

It also comes supplied with a screw in stub which you can use to cover up the hole in the antenna and keep a more streamlined look.

ps the JDM antenna is shorter and stubbier and doesn't look as RC car as the US MR.
