MR Pics

Had a chance to play with an MR for a bit today. OK car, the color is pretty stealthy. Had a chance to weigh it too. We proudly present the following for message board mental masturbation:

Great pics... just a point to note, the reardiffuserthingy is called the vortex generator. Cheers!

Very much appreciated.

Couldn't really tell -- was the rear deck spoiler dark colored, or was it body-colored?

Still that stupid LANCER name in the cluster and the 170mph speedo. Why cant it be like in the EUROPE 180 and EVOLUTION:

OHH YEA BTW, why in that bottom pic does it say km/h. If it was 180 KM, it would roughly be like 115 mph!!!!! WIERD

Might be JDM-spec, where cars are electronically govenered to 112mph.

I thought JDM also has over 180km/hr but goverened at 180km/h. It was first Japanese car with over 180 speedo.

It looks like something out of "car wars" or "Mad Max". Good thing to keep the punks from jumping off of their ninja bikes onto the top of your car.

They look to me more like nubbins...

The 6 speed tranny is huge and the cooling fins are a nice touch. Looks like it might add an hour to a clutch swap though. The tranny is very close to the frame rail and that will require dropping the motor some and more wrangling to not destroy the t/o bearing clip.
