Would it be possbile to change the instrument cluster from the FQ400 into a regular EVO?

FQ400

None for North America

I particularly enjoyed the part about the rear tires leaving a trail of rubber upon launch. Love the front lip too. I think that is the perfect EVO.

Here's what I like... All those mods and tuning producing the extra HP, and it still has the original intercooler. I guess I won't be upgrading that any time soon...

That's why they don't sell the FQ EVOs here! People will never pay that kind of money for a "lancer".
Stop complaining about price! Here in SG, we pay US$91000 for the regular 280bhp Evo8 MR, US$850+ road tax per yr, US$2500+ (0% NCD) for annual motor insurance, US$3.40 per gallon petrol! How's that for maintaining an Evo??

Yea man, you got a good point. 400hp is about 340-350whp? The stock IC is good up to around there.

EVO ROCKS!!!! First of all, the recent victory over the wrx/sti in English town and now the release of the fq400, all of which make the evo looks so much better!!! Which in turn make me proud to own an evo!!! Hell yea...

P.S who said the sti looks better than the evo. I dont agree. I saw some clean *** looking evo at the Etown-race pics.

in my opinion i would take a stock 30k evo and put $10k in it...that would be enough to modify power/ looks/ brakes/handling to near or above that level ....screw $70,000+ ....lol

For the LAST TIME, UK prices aren't direct conversions for the US.

The standard base UK spec MR costs 32,000 pounds...

That is already waaaaay waaaaay more than the base MR in the US.

Wow....thanks CAPTAIN OBVIOUS (DoggieHowser) i know that a direct conversion would be over $80,000 actually ....so my $70,000 dollar estimate is (let me do the math for you) over $10,000 dollars not pounds off to account for that.

45,000.00 GBP
United Kingdom Pounds = 80,951.54 USD
United States Dollars
1 GBP = 1.79892 USD 1 USD = 0.555888 GBP

If you have lived anywhere in the UK, you will realize that US stuff selling in the UK are about a dollar to the pound.

It's a perpetual gripe over there :P when I was living there.

A PC that costs US$1000 costs GBP1000.

US XBox... US$299?
UK XBox... GBP299.

It sucks.. but there you go.

I wouldn't be surprised they could do an FQ400 for US$45,000, abt the same premium over a base US spec MR selling at US$33 to 35k.

FWIW, the base UK MR FQ is abt GBP32-35k as well.
