Evo MR and the Nordschleife?
The MR GSR did a 8'14''98 in one of the Best Motoring vids:

i guess the best evo doesnt beat the best subaru at this track.
when does the spec c gonna make it over to the us?
Ok, enough with the "Oh yeah, well the Evo MR super special blah blah did a 7 minute flat on the Nordschleife while going in reverse..." and "The new Spec C is a million pounds lighter than the new MR."
Stop it, just stop it. It wastes valuable bandwith that could be devoted to another important Al vs. Shiv thread...geez

I guess to be picky the new Spec C posted a time of 7min 59.41 secs on the usual 22km course. But agreed, no more Spec C vs. MR debates! As we all know, there is always something faster out there. Now what would be interesting would be to hear some subjective reports with drivers swapping cars, like in the Best Motoring series. How easy each respective car was to drive, where things were tough, etc.

Thanks for the tip. Interesting article. Though I think the biggest issue with the WR1 is with the tires. The Nero's that it sports just don't compare to the Evo's Advans or the RE070's that the STi normally has. That could be a big reason its not as sharp feeling.
I'll search some german sites, see if there is any info there.

some more informations about the spec c but you won't get that car in the us neither we'll get the car in europe because the car exist only in a rhd version
and yes the subaru is faster then the fastest evo but the subaru is only lb 2888 so it's not so amazing that he beats the evo mr.

There's absolutely no reason why the Spec C can't be done in a LHD. There isn't one component on a Spec C that is steering wheel side dependent...it's not like a Skyline. If we see it, it will be in the last year of the that body style. And it will be the baddest dog on the block, most likely. For at least a week or more.
