Yet another Utec question

Here's the delima. Currently I am flashed by Dynoflash and will Be taking the Utec step in a few days but is it better for me to get flashed back to stock and start with a clean ECU? Can the UTEC raise the Rev limit, kill the boost and fuel cut? We just got an AWD dyno near my house and now I have more of a reason to get a Utec.

I have a Dynoflash and a Utec as well. Do you have stock injectors? Because if you do then it will work with no problems. The scaling of injectors can get tricky by itself, but compounded with a Dynoflash with upgraded injector scaling it can cause you headaches. Hands Down the Utec is my best investment soo far coupled with a Tuner in your car. You can road tune it pretty damn close and take it to a dyno to fine tune your maps. A Dyno cannot compare road conditions, because on the road you are in different types of engine loads. You have to fine tune the TurboXS maps to YOUR car. Be careful when loading other peoples maps as mods can be way different as well as the engine behaves.

Speaking from experience. For purposes of having a UTEC, I would go ahead and recommend doing the p0300 reflash so you dont have to pay to have the car flashed back to stock and have the reflash. Kill 2 birds with one stone. Having larger injectors did make things interesting trying to tune around a dynoflash fuel map. Combine that with a background map with open loop fueling and trying to fine tune the fuel maps can make for a frustrating and expensive tuning seesion(s). Even if larger injectors arent in your immediate site, go ahead and have it done. Save you headaches later. Just FYI, my EGTs were 800 degrees before I reoved the dynoflash. Afterwards it dropped to 700 degrees. Needed a bad retune.

So if I leave the Dynoflash, do the Utec, then maybe later on down the line if I decide to go with bigger injectors the scaling will stay the same???

Here's what I'll do because it will just be easier. Get rid of Dynoflash completly, get Utec, tune. This seems to be the most logical way to do it, and less headachs down the road. And yes I did order a Utec about 20 min ago.

That would be the Best thing to do if you can. At least you will start the right way and use their maps and tune them out to your car.
