MBC necessary w/ UTEC?

I plan on getting a UTEC later on down the road...I see that some people here still use a halman in conjunction w/ the turbo xs...I was under the impression that the UTEC worked as an electronic boost controller also??

an MBC Is NOT necessary to run the UTEC.. some people choose to use an MBC or third party EBC.. But you can control your boost just fine with the UTEC.

This has been asked several times in the past.

ok, thanks malibu jack. Yeah sorry about not searching. A lot of times when I do search, I get hundreds of non-relevant threads...and its really hard to sort through the non-relevant ones...

Search "thread title" not "entire post".
