Possible to add aux input to UTEC?

I am wondering if it is even possible to add any aux input to UTEC so UTEC can log it along with everything else. I looked at the hardware side and there is not additional aux input other than MAP sensor. Since TurboXS can do it with MAP sensor, I am sure the hardware is ready to do additional aux inputs, no?

Ok, what about on teh software side? If it can hook up with Tuner and MAP sensor, it should be ready for more too, right?

The Tuner Pro lets you add an EGT into it, but i don't know if it will datalog with the rest of the parameters.

The only physical connector is the MAP sensor..

There are several outputs for a relay (which I would have liked to see as a PWM Duty output)

Whats funny is all the sensors from the engine are passing through the UTEC, I just wish the logging was a little more flexible to allow you to configure a custom log.

For instance, I find Air intake temp and coolant temp to be fairly important.. Also, the TurboXS Tuner Pro has an EGT option and several additional inputs which I would like the TUner Pro to append more than just AFR to the logs..

If there's enough interest and it can be proven useful, I'm sure TurboXS takes notes

I don't see why TurboXS doesn't make their next new firmware to be more flexible with datalogging. I came from Autronic to UTEC, and I found that coolant temp, intacke temp, boost solenoid duty cycle, and even factory O2 sensor are very useful. Seeing what the stock O2 sees can help us troubleshoot any problems with the close loop mode.

I guess TurboXS should consider making a Aux Input box for us, so we can log data from other devices, such as EGT, Oil Temp, and even third party WB sensor. I am sure it will sell.

And one more suggestion, I think it will be great if it has another output for LED so it can show knock event (whenever the dash CEL light flashing). I think having a bringhter flashing light will be much more visable than the dim CEL light

I have to agree with you wholeheartedly on that one.. Its way too easy to miss a flashing CEL light except if your tuning on a dyno or at night.
