Even better.. But I usually just leave the CEL Light on until I can verify what it is and the snapshot data..

It keeps it for 4 or 5 restarts before it clears it completely - keeps the last 4 or 5 codes as well. I love it because of what a P0300 can do to my driveability sometimes.

Anyone using a pocketLOGGER ( www.pocketlogger.com ). Hooks up to a PDA and your able to log runs and clear codes and all that good stuff. I was seriously considering this one. Any comments/suggestions are appreciated!

This is the one I use, it has everything you need to tune with! Here is the link so you can see everything it does.

Any idea on the max sampling rate for several sensors? Thats the big problem with tuning using the OBD-II port.. That and we don't have wideband sensors so the O2 sensor data is of limited value in tuning (you still need a wideband)

My only issue with using OBD-II for data analysis on the UTEC is the sensor data is of limited value since much of it gets overridden by the UTEC.. But some data is very useful such as fuel trims, coolant temp, MAF flow rate, and a few other useful sensors.. and I am impressed with their performance computer software / Dyno software, but if the sample rate for the data is fairly slow, it may not pick up the nuances you would see in dyno plots that you would see timing being pulled or hiccups from misfire that show as dips/spikes..

well since I finally bout the first scanner of the two....the one that could read trims was just too much cheeze. I am now (or have been) throwing over boost and the misfire cel on a constant basis....wth. I have had to clear them almost every time I do any hard driving. I was just living with the cells before....I know not good. But I am trying to be pro-active now :-)

any help on these cels?

yeah, at this point you have to figure out the load sites your in, how much fueling its getting, and alter your boost controller settings so it doesnt increase too fast for the RPM, and throttle position.
