I've got a LHD Evo7 I want to put in the Power FC. Is there a specific model of Power FC I need to buy? Or is it modification city?

I would guess you want a JDM Power FC. There are guys running the JDM PFC on USDM EVO 8, but I have not seen it the other way. There was a guy on EBay selling the JDMS for cheap.
