Zeitronix Wideband 02

Hey guys I got a problem with my Zeitronix system... currently have system set up only to boost sensor... car isn't turned over but boost reads 14.5-14.3.. I have checked the connections numerous times, checked power source, ground source.. everything! only thing i've noticed is that the brain box is RED HOT after only being on for just a few minutes... I'm gonna try checking the LCD against the laptop reading to see if its that.. but I REALLY doubt thats it... if any of you guys have had the same experience or solution could you please share??? thanks

Do you have the black power ground connected to the chassis?
Also make sure all the extra leads are not shorting out to ground or with each other

I have the ground tied down to the same spot that I have by turbo timer grounded... now that I think about it... would that affect the readings that way? I have checked the other leads that are there and have them tied off so they don't touch anything else... I'm thinking i'll try a different ground and see what I get...

It's probably reading absolute pressure. Is there a checkbox somewhere to tells it to read like a "gauge"?

its suppose to only read gauge psi, i thought perhaps its using absolute pressure, but even when car is running and i engage launch control which hits 12psi.. still stays same: 14.3...

make sure your red 12v is a true switched 12v and not a 5v source from the ECU.
Email Ziggy he usually answers questions promptly

I'm going back and forth right now with "Ziggy" (guy from Zeitronix right?)
I have the red line coming off the ZT-2 spliced into another line that is connected to the cig lighter that is a true 12V line...
