Can I use SAFC2 with my PFC to tune seperate maps?...

what im wondering is can i set up the SAFC2 with different fuel settings to work for a race gas map?..... and then advance timing on my commander?....

I know i can do this with the FC datalogit software.... but I want to know if the SAFC is a viable "laptopless" solution?....

I plan on getting the FC datalogit software regardless..
But i now have a SAFC2 sitting in my closet....

thanks for the helo guys

It will work on the L-Jetro. It will not work on the D-Jetro unless you wire it in as a MAP signal. Even then no idea what the settings would be on the SAFC

You can use the injector scaling to change your fuel maps by x%. You just need to remember to change back.

Anyone know exactly what the temporary fuel adjustment does on the Ign/ Inj page in settings? You might be able to use this, but I'm not sure.

Hi Rob,
The ign/inj toggle allows you to adjust overall maps on the fly - literally. Only thing is when you turn off your engine it changes back.
So if you have an o2 meter, set it this way, when you get the settings you want, note them. And then you can make perminent adj via commander.

Or just get a Datalogit. They do save a lot of hastles

TT

So what/ how does the injector column change. I use this feature every time I run race gas to add timing, but I've never changed the injectors. I know by entering +5 in the timing column, I've added 5 degrees of timing across the borad.
