?Turbo upgrade and engine management?

What type of engine management do you need when doing a turbo kit on our cars?
None? Piggy-back? Or full on standalone? Keep in mind when answering that, daily driveability, good idle, etc are factors for me. So basically, what type of tuning is closest to stock driveability?

For good driveability a reflash or piggyback is going to be the best for the money. A standalone can give good driveability if tuner knows what he's doing, but it cost lot more. I run an XEDE w/ mine and my driveability is just like stock.

it depends on how much power you are trying to make, and how much boost you will be running. the aem is great, drivability depends on the ems operator.
