Been involved with a discussion on the Ralliart engine forum about datalogging options.
I want to have the most avaialble options as far as sensors to view, like knock sensor is biggy. I'm looking at Auterra/ Nology (they seem to be the same) and Auto enginuity, and Pocketlogger.
Is there an option better than these for Palm OS?
What are you guys using?
I like the screens that are on the auterra with the use of different colors on the graphs. The Pocketlogger is nice due to pricing, but is more plain.
I just want to have the most info/ most usefullness.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Auterra/ Nology (I have Auterra) do not have knock sensor. I think that most if not all do not have the knock sensor capability.
This is interesting as it is just a measure of voltage from the sensor. Auterra is OBDII which does not have knock as part of it's parameters. ECU+ is a datalogging piggyback that is suppposed to have knock as part of it's next release.
Check out this chart for comparison.

I use the PC version of this tool.

Their software is pricy, but they are also the approved emissions diagnostic tools for PA and NC.

I just recently bought, an AutoEnginuity and it came in today.
Well after finally getting it on my palm (been having trouble hotsync'ing) I tried it out.
seems kinda crappy. i don't like the way it graphs. i think i like the auterra better. It has the option of a screen with abunch of sensor, but you can see them. the font on this one was too small when viewing multiple sensors.
Ran their dyno tool, and the car wasn't even moving and it said 500 hp at 847 rpm (this was in my 02 Tacoma!) Also, when graphing rpm it was saying 9470 rpm when I was idling.
I think I'm going to see about sending it back and getting the auterra.
I wish there was one that was actually designed for the evo, and had some solenoid tests and useful tuning aids.
Maybe that ECU+ is worth looking into, but seems kinda pricey for a scan tool.
