Wow, your idle MAF readings are WAY high.. At least if the ECU is seeing that number.. Try removing in the 0% column in your fuel map, 0-950 rpm cells, remove about 30% fuel, then 1000, 25% 1250, 15% 1500, 15% 1750, 5%

Hope that makes sense to you.. You should be telling the stock ECU that at idle, its running about 30hz, in reality, you should be looking only at your fuel trims with an OBD-II scanner, and adjusting accordingly.. Maybe this will help.

Wow, Basically I suggested scaling your injectors at idle, but it looks like they did it with the global scaling.. Glad everything is fixed..

i hope you didn't pay your tuner too much since he only basically adjusted the a/f.

Didn't really need the dyno to tune a/f but in your case you didn't have a wideband so i guess so.

There is a book called"Comperition Car Datta Logging - A Practical Handbook" by Simon McBeth. It is published by Haynes Publishing. ISBN 1 85960 653 9. I just got it at Barnes & Noble so I have'nt read much but, so far, it seems pretty informative.
Good luck with your problem,
RAW

Tuning is partly about understanding your particular car and engine.. So any generic book should give you good guidelines and techniques, but be aware that every car is different and has different requirements and of course needs and quirks... Tuning my Malibu's V8 and Tuning the Evo are as different as you can get, but the principles are exactly the same when it comes to how timing works and air fuel ratios.. But the amount of timing or fuel for the two are completely different.

Yeah, that takes awhile to grasp, I learned most of it by logging lots of data from my car with different maps running, and logging the MAP-0 (stock setting) for weeks when My car was stock enough to run okay without a map running.. The more I understood about what it was doing stock, the more prepared I was to make improvements, also understanding what felt good, and what felt bad, and good/bad noises.. I find I am very frequently listening to the Tuner-Pro's headphones (knock sensor) All I really hear is the valvetrain, but detonation is something you can hear over it...
