Okay.. First, it has to be enabled (nice an obvious) use IGN CUT if you don't plan on using nitrous.. Ignition cut will result in a giant fireball out your tailpipe and probably neuter your catalytic converter.. also verify the RPM its set for..

Now, here's the trick, that most people don't realize with some of the changes with the UTEC.. Save the changes, turn off the car and wait for the ECU and UTEC to power down completely.. Then restart the car.. Sometimes changes dont' show immediately and won't work until the next run cycle.

Go into the UTEC dashboard and look in the lower left corner.. put the clutch in, and look for a * to show up next to one of the readings.. If it comes on, it means your clutch switch is working right..

Now, hold the clutch pedal in, and rev the engine, it should rev to your set point....

Funny part is I disabled the flatshift.. I found I am quicker when I launch and shift without it..

I have the same results as you Jack. I found alot of it has to do with how sensitive the clutch switch is so it "engages" flatfoot shifting earlier then I expect it to most of the time.

yeah exactly! my switch used to engage if you just hit a hard bump with the car.. now if you put the clutch down a bit the switch engages.. Unfortunately the way I drive, I do alot of sync shifting (power shifting) so its iffy and unpredictable when the launch control would kick in when driving the car hard.. since its not a two-step where you can disable the flatshift and keep the launch control, I chose to just disable it.
