The SAFC can't even come close to comparing to the ECU+. On top of all the features, Tom (ECU+ creator and genius ) is always coming out with new features and is always there is a problem arises. Can't say that about the SAFC.

I've been looking at this as well -- anyone know where you can get a good deal on a laptop?

So in order to have a wideband datalogger, we will need to purchase a separate datalogger in addition to the ECU+ itself?

my understanding was this is built in , you just need to have the wideband, then hook it to the extra port on the ECU+ box. all the software will do the datalogging.

From my understanding, you need to buy a wideband kit that can send/output a 5V output signal. And bear in mind ECU+ does NOT support all/any wideband kit. Check their software to see which ones are supported.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, buying just an O2 sensor and connecting it directly to ECU+ is NOT possible. You still need a wideband 'kit'.

if you look at the ECU + setup there is a list of the ones it supports, the PLX series is the easiest but any that have 5voutput. you can email tom over on the ECU+ formun for more info. here is the link.

You'll definately be happy with the ECU+. The creator, Tom, is always adding new features to the system. Right now he is having a little trouble with a CEL but, that will be fixed shortly.
