Whats the difference between these to?
whats the difference between these two boost controlers? do i need both of them to control my boost levels or can you just use one of these? im confused because one is like electonic, and the other goes right into the engine bay. sorry for the newb question but im new toforced induction. here are the name and links:

Yes the turbosmart is a Manual and the HKS is a electronic. It really depends on what you are doing what one you would recommend.
Almost any good quality manual boost controller is going to be able the same. You wil lwant to make your decision based on what you are going to be doing to the car.
Are you just going to set the boot and forget about it?
Are you going to turn the boost up and use race gas?
There are many things to decide when selecting boost control let me know what you are going to do with the car and I can try and help you decide.

well i wont be using race gas. but can i still up the boost if i wanna race (this will be very rare btw). id like to be able to set it and forget it but if i get nmore mods wont i have to tune it or change it?
Really the only advantage A EBC has over a MBC is that you can change it inside that car. And it can read boost and adjust itself to what the boost is doing. But if you are only going to change it a couple times a MBC is very easy to tune. All you do it turn a adjustment screw to change the boost setting. I would recommend a MBC for your situation and also make sure you don't crank the boost to high.
