Unhappy Changing plugs more often than my underwear!!!

Ok, that may be a stretch, my colder plugs ala the Vishnu camp(cant remember exact #) but they are gapped at 26, and after a month of driving, when I notice the "burp"/ Hesitation at high rpm and boost, The miss in the step, I know its time to change the plugs. every time I re-check the plugs,( like this time 1 month after installing new ones) the gap is 36!!!!!! I can see how some people can have the plug "grenade" in the cylinder, as I am sure if I didn't change the plug during the WOT burps, the gap would be too far for the spark to jump, and blammo! self contained spark explodes in the ceramic tip! Is it the fact that the colder NGK plugs are not that great? is it the fact I run 110 Leaded most of the time? (however it still happened in the winter on 93 octane though. What is the plug of choice? what is my problem here? (besides personal hygene with my underwear?) If you have this WOT burp, take your plugs out and tell me the gap doesnt get larger every time you check them! anyone expierementing with plugs?

I got the OEM Spec NGK plugs and i was misfiring at high RPM's when they were factory gapped at .032. I regapped down to .025 and i was misfiring in low RPM's. So, now i gapped them to .028 and all is happy now. FYI, the part# is NGK BPR7EIX

The stock plugs are NGK IGR7A-G. The BPR7EIX are the cheaper Iridium replacement.

I just swapped out my stock plugs for NGK BPR7ES. It's a copper plug so you'll have to change it more often than the Iridium, but from the sounds of it it might be better for you anyway. They're only $2 a plug, so its worth a shot.

I gap my Denso's at .028 and replace them about every 10k miles.

No oil, but go into the forum you are looking for, ie: with your oil problem, probably go to "turbo drivetrain section" and once you "open" that area, on top you will find a red box that says someting like POST NEW THREAD or NEW TOPIC. click that, and in the "small" long box, list your title, ie "wheres is the oil going?". Then in the "BIG" box, tell your story, and click at the bottom "submit thread" or "Post thread" then you are done!!

P.S. where are you from?
