greddy type s bov adjustment
ok well i just installed a greddy type s and a aem intake on my 05 evo 8 and i did not make any adjustments to the bov just left it the way it was from the box. well my problem is that in 4th or 5th at highway speeds ill be cruising at 80 or so and ill just lightly apply throttle to pass someone or just to get on it when i can. and when i let off the throttle completely i get a choppy feeling and a sound like che che che che pretty fast like pulsing. now if i let off the throttle with complete accuracy and softness it does not happen. can someone tell me what i should do about this because if it is the bov which i am 99.9 % sure it is. how do i adjust this to run smooth. and by the way i put this bov in just like the stock with the purle top facing horizontal i hope that is correct.....well any help would be appreciated thankyou in advance.....

What you are hearing is compressor surge, which is not good. You need to perform what is generally knows as the "single spring mod" ASAP. I have run my greddy-s with the single spring for over a year with no problems. This is the original thread on the modification: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=24611
