Well we got it updated with a laptop running Win2k and that had a serial port. So its running v1.47 with Support Tool v1.25. I saw a post on a users groups that said v1.47 gives teh blue e-manage gold capability. That doesn't seem right to me.

We still have that MIL code P0102. When the e-manage is disconected and the MAF wires are reconnected (with the supplied bullet connectors), the code will go away (after we clear it). With the e-mange connected, the code comes back immediately after we clear it.

Could the leads be messed up on the Greddy harness? They looked ok to me. I guess the next step is to try to put new connectors on the Greddy harness.

Any other ideas??

What are the rotary switches set to? Should be "3-8-3". In the "Parameter" screen in the support tool, what is the "Air Flow Meter Change" field set to? It should be "MT_KR-1". I'm guessing it's not set up correctly yet. Also in the "Main Unit Setting Information" screen, you'll be able to see what the rotary switches are set to, and the "Airflow Meter Pulse" in and out should be set to Karman. This is actually set by the rotary switches, but it doesn't hurt to double check.

If you go to the Help/About screen, the middle version number will have a "k" at the end of the number if the unit is operating as a Gold emanage.

I'll have to look at the rest of this when I get the car in front of me again.

He said he's going to have the dealer reflash his ECU to be sure its stock. We aren't 100% its not a flashed ECU. Other people have said the guy before him had it flashed. Who knows.

Thanks again.

the settings are right, i remember, i will check again because it never hurts, i could have overlooked one. It just ****s me up b/c when you reconnect the car it runs fine but as soon as you connect the emange she throws a code, and the wires are all soldered good. I think its something to do with the possiblitly of a previous flash but if not then i want to recheck the main harness to make sure it is all good. I'm on the verge of scrapping and going to a new unit.
Another thing im noticing is she seems really rich when the emanage is hooked up but when you read the diagnostics it reads lean, this is def going to take a little time. there are several bugs that need worked out

It's rich due the low MAF reading. Check the settings and let me know what you find. Before you give up, maybe you can bring the car down and I can take a look at it? I'll be installing an alky kit on my car this weekend so I'll be around.

We may have to take you up on that. I think he's going out of town this weekend. So maybe the weekend after. Dunno we'll see.

We're going to try again tonight and see what we can come up with..... Man this is frustrating. Just doesn't make sense. I hope we're just missing something simple.

Just wanted to post the results. We found the issue.

The jumpers were all set wrong. So we cracked open the case and set them all back to factory. I found a post on an emanage users group that lead us in that direction. They were all set up for VTEC.

The guy he got it from apparently wasn't telling him the truth on this. He didn't get it new. Why else would an EVO owner set the box up for VTEC? Oh well.....

Anyways, its good to have the box working right again.
