txs tuner reading lambda

txs tuner reading lambda
is there any cons switching the txs tuner to read lambda instead of afr?

I might be injecting some methanol in......and it burns 6.5:1afr whereas gas burns 14.7:1afr...one has to know the exact ratio for using afr. Lambda reading might be better for measuring rich/lean?

Lambda reading should give you a better read of the optimum mixture for blended fuels, I was thinking the exact same thing since I am retrofitting one of my cars for E85

so i will just have to switch the dip switch for lambda on the tuner.....would any "free air calibration" have to be done??
