I do agree, you need to get the most bang for your buck.. But it really depends on your end-state and what you want to do.. I ran with an S-AFC for a long time before I felt I needed to go with something more capable. But I had very specific needs.

What I find interesting is this is posted in the UTEC forum, and you are getting pretty honest unbiased answers.. I think the UTEC users probably have the most open mind when it comes to this stuff..
I agree, I thought everyone would just be listing UTEC since it's in the forum. Good stuff tho I should be getting my UTEC from my friend in the next week so be expecting some questions since you are the Guru

I had an Autronic and now I have Utec. You have to ask yourself how much mods you plan to do. If simple bolt ons are all you going to get, I think you should get a reflash or SAFC. But if you are constantly modding your car and you want to squeeze every bit of juice from them, go with something moe flexible, such as UTEC, XEDE, or even stand alone like Autronic, AEM, or Power FC. ECU+ is more like a product in the middle ground between XEDE and SAFC. It controls timing like XEDE, but it doesn't have very high resolutions.

Once you decided how you see yourself modding the car, you just have to choose which interface to use.

I am now using UTEC and I think it suite my needs very well. Stand alone is overkilled for me, and I would rather spend more time tuning my car at WOT than tuning its drivability.

Good luck!
