well the bug has hit me to finally start modding my evo...i'm looking for a high 12 second car that can be used as a daily driver with long term reliability. most important is keeping a stock appearance and sound. what do you guys think of this list

-dynoflash
-3" downpipe
-cam gears
-MR BOV

will that suffice for what i want?

 

Add some kind of MBC, and I don't know why you want gears witout cams? Just get an exhaust, intake, mbc, cams, tune. Enjoy

 

high 12's u should be there. If you dont wanna exhuast just get a high flow cat to go with your dp. Cam gears are a waste without the cams.

 

great feedback, thanks guys. if i go with a Authority 3" DP, will my service engine soon light come on? will the ultimate racing test pipe fix it?

 

oh yea...will a new fuel pump be needed? is the BOV really necessary? sorry for the noob questions, just want to get it right!

 

With ONLY a
s-afc (with buschur settings) , mbc and a cone fliter with race fuel got me a 12.5@109 STOCK exhaust (dp,cat,catback)

 

will any MBC work? aren't they all basic ***** with springs? what's the differance between them?
