I recently had some HKS 280 cams installed in my 2005 MR. About 100 miles later I got the expected "service engine soon" light to pop up on my dash. I understand why this announcement popped up.

My question is can I use the CReader OBDII scanner to make this annoying light to disappear from my dash console.

Again i know why i thru the cel with the lumpy idle etc... I am just tired of looking at this orange service engine soon light!

yeah plugging in the CReader will clear the codes. it will display the code 4 times so you can write it down, then it will clear it.

the creader is also proven to almost eliminate the p0300 random misfire code. i use it with my timing-advance map to prevent misfires.
