More important than timing control is the ability switch to open loop earlier in the ecu load map. I will be testing a new flash that should improve this area. On top of that, when timing is released (I am sure I will be the Evo beta tester) we will likely release a new flash, allowing the MAFTPro to become more like a standalone.

Nah, just making a joke. I have no doubt that when this is released that iot was worth the wait. Bob, Scott have done a good job so far to keep everything out in the open.

Just a question about this upgrade. Will timing control be only changeable at WOT or will it be a similar table to the ve table?

How is that more important than timing control lol, A good time map is a key to a safe motor, as well as fuel, but I dont think anything is as important as fuel and timing. just my 2 cents, but keep us updated product sounds great

We already handle timing with ECU reflashes. We already run est 432whp 445+tq. Timing is not as important a need as it is made out to be. Nevertheless it is in the works.

Thanks for your input though.

I understand that you flash the ecu to desired timing, but since maft pro is a piggy back, Once you make changes to the fuel it does alter the ecu timing like an afc does correct? If correct then what ever you timing map you flash the ecu to does change once you start playing with the fuel map?

I thought this was suppose to be out weeks ago? I'll laugh if this ends up like TurboXS and everyone switched from UTECs for nothing.

I dont think I would switch back. With my flash from Jester and my fueling done with the maftpro the car feels a lot stronger. With the UTEC I was running almost 23 degrees of timing, now with the flash I am running just over 18 degrees. I am going to test some theroies once I can find a person willing to help me out, granted I need it locally and with a UTEC (Nez if your reading this your the man)

Plus with the maftpro the fuel portion is a lot better than the UTEC, granted I had to get use to using the system which took longer than expected but I had the car out for most of the day a few days ago and got my fuel perfect. I am running 11.2 since it's colder out and will lean it out some more during the summer months.

The UTEC won't and probably will never get afr tracking, this is a huge bonus with the pro and is a semi-failsafe system to use alky/meth. If the pump fails the pro will dump fuel to your desired afr value.

I also thought that the utec's knock control was a little too sensitive, every other day the cel light was flashing for some reason or another and got tired of it, plus with my plans the maftpro can do everything I need for right now. There are some updates coming out in the next few weeks to enhance some drivability problems that some are having, not sure on what exactly. I trust Bob and Scott will go through the beta testing then it will be dispersed thru the few of us that run this system. I think it's underrated for what it is.

I still have been on the lazy side and haven't hooked up the boost control so I can't comment on that, I know joey and Scott use it, and I have heard nothing but good things. (Might do it tomorrow if it's nice)

Are you laughing at the 3mph we gained in the 1/4 and est 27whp pickup?

It is coming. There are other improvements being made as well. Personally we do not see a need for it on OUR car. There is not an AEM equipped car making more whp and torque on 93 octane than us as far as I have seen.

Anyone is welcome to get the UTEC. Show me some results on stock turbo with it before you do though.

maybe he's laughing because he lacks AFR tracking or AUX inputs for Alky or Afterstart Enrichment or Tuning without the need of a Laptop or full time Speed Density or the million of other things we whoop the UTEC at
