ETA on timing control

We could run this off of coolant temp, but that would require another tap to the ECU and I think we are out of wires.
Let me know your findings!

What I am implying is just way to disable it over xx temp at startup only.
So cruising would not make a difference because cold start enrichment would have tapered out to nothing long ago at that point.
Basically when you shut down your hot motor and let it sit, the AIT sensor would have to register this radiant heat. If you find the threshold we can have the MAFTPro look for the temp and not engage over xx voltage or 85*F or something along those lines.

A lot of this would depend on ambient temp. If it is -10 and windy outside, I could shut my engine down and within 2 minutes the AIT could be reading 30 even though the engine would not need cold start enrichment if it were restarted. If it were warmer, the AIT threshold for cold start enrichment to be turned off would be higher. It may be possible to do something like this, but it may require frequent changes depending on ambient temperature. Ideally we would have a coolant temp input and could adjust based upon that. I can do some logging this weekend to test out the AIT readings after shut down. My laptop took a dive into my passenger footwell earlier this week and is being replaced on Friday. Once I have it back I can do a bit more testing.

Well I have tested both. Up in the northern states the enrichment works wonderful. When I was in FL 2 months ago I didn't notice a richer condition during warm-up.
