Complex Problem: Rich AFR at WOT, then taper leaner. Inconsistent

Problem: Under WOT, AFR jump to LOW 10's and slowly taper up to high 10's low 11's.

1. It's inconsistent = sometimes the car will start at high 11's and taper down.I cannot pick up on any pattern but it's running rich 90% of the time.It is not based on ambient temperatures. I am pretty confident it's based on load.

2. Car is underpowered and loses many PSI off peak boost under the rich condition. (Peak under lean will be 35, under rich it can be as low as 29).

3. The car makes great power when it is running properly (lean to rich).

4. The car was tuned at mid 11's by a reputable local tuner.

5. Mods:
FP Red 80mm (unported); FP 18psi Wastegate; FP Intake Pipe; Forge RS BOV; Cosworth M2 Cams; Aquamist HFS-6 (50/50); FIC 850cc Injectors; ETS 3inch FMIC; ETS LICP; TurboTrix UICP; Amsoil Cone Filter; 100 cell cat; 65 MM tb; Ported Intake Manifold; Ported exhaust manifold; o2 house; Turboback; Hallman MBC; 255 Walbro; Stock ECU

Made 504/465 but then boost was lowered for reliability.

History of Problem:
1.
-At the track = could build ~28psi.
-On the street = ~34psi
-Turned boost controller after each pass = only slowly gaining boost and controller maxed our at 35psi
-Left the track = had to turn the boost controller wayyyy because car was then boosting wayyy too high.

2.
-Before meth, FPred and retune, = still had problem (i think)
-Cannot confirm with AFR's only with butt dyno and 1/4 MPH. (car would run 108mph max some times, 113 others)

3.
-FPRed ate a turbine blade on hot side last week.
-FP says it's a result of too much heat, likely from too conservative a tune, I.E. too rich. Or from the turbo spinning too fast.

Guesses:
1. Wastegate actuator not holding the initial "shock" of the motor's air flow (thus a change in max psi at the track only, this is unlikely).
2. A bad sensor telling the car it's hotter/colder than it actually is.
3. Bad sensor telling the car it's at the wrong elevation
4. Clog in post injector fuel system (which i will be checking for in a few days).
5. Problem with LTFT
6. Other ECU issues involving the MAF sensor. (too high mhz? not even sure what that means)
7. Meth system problem?

Questions:
1. What should I log? (although i would like to solve this before logging much because i don't want to hurt the new FP black going in). I am new to logging. Can i even lot temp sensors etc?
2. What should i physically check (other than a boost leak)
3. Does any one have any other guesses at what the issue.

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. I will start my logging once the turbo is on the car in a few days.

logically if you are runnin rich..you are loosing air somewhere...

get the boost leak test out of the way first before doing anything else

^^^ I've done them before and everything checks out and I'll certainly do another when the tubo goes back in, but to see the extreme swings in peak psi makes me think something else is going on.

Bump, car also has intermittent hard starts where it will crank and ALMOST start and then die and then require a second extended cranking to finally start. Other times it starts right away.

Here are some logs.

The car now has:
1. the cat removed
2. FP Black
3. Boost turned down to 22psi.

Anyone see anything blatantly wrong? Whatever was causing it to jump rich still seems to be happening according to my wideband

See post below

Bump for better logs:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/8497080-post90.html

Because I'm desperate at this point, tonight I'll start prodding around in the Ecu.
I plan to start by turning off lean spool.

Then maybe trying to rescale the injectors.

I have the Rom if anyone's interested.

bump from the dead

Did you ever solve this issue!? I am running into almost exactly the same issues you were having!
