Hey guys, kind of a noob when it comes to ecuflash. Finally got my basemap from TScomptuned but before I wrote the basemap hex file I was trying to read my old ecu but I kept getting an unknown ROM error. I have no clue who tuned my car previously and it may be locked. Had the ECU unlocker in the background and still no luck but anyway my question is would it be ok to go ahead and write this file to my ecu? Tom is a hard man to reach and tried contacting him several times to give me some guidance but he may be out on vacation. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
