I replied over at full throttle tech as well.

At any rate, I assume that you are leaving your injector tune in the Utec, and just want to set the Pro up to replace the stock MAF. No problem, and it should work well as soon as we get things straightened out.

Working outside in the freezing cold sucks. You may want to put the MAF back on briefly until you get a break in the weather. You can set the unit for AFC mode, where it will just pass the MAF signal thru for you. Its easy:
- Set F out mode to 0 (AFC, frequency signal pass-thru)
- Unhook the IAT and BARO signals from the Pro to the ECU, (brown and gray)
- Plug the MAF back in.

Post back here or full throttle tech and we will get it nailed down. Do you have Tunerpro loaded in your laptop? Perhaps you can grab a logfile and/or email your BIN file so I can look it over...?

Make sure first of all that all the setup answers are answered correctly. Just as if you hook up the MAFTPro and don't load a bin, it won't run (barely).

Next I would verify the Afterstart enrichement is set up correctly.

Then check back with us.

Yes you need to turn the afterstart to 10-15. I can duplicate whats happening to you because of the cold weather if the afterstart is off or set too low.

Oops forgot you had the UTEC. It seems that the fueling doesn't like working on the utec w/maftpro. When I converted over to maftpro fueling everything was fine, you might need to retard your timing maps a little bit also or you can just create a blowthrough map set fuel to 0 and timing to ecu but keep your injector scaling in the utec where it is, dont change it. Then try and start the car and see what your afr is at idle and work from there. With 780's at 0% fueling on theutec and maftpro I was in the 13's, lean it out a little bit on the low throttle side 800-1200.

I've found myself in similar situations plenty of times. Look on the bright side, at least you will feel that much better when everything is in order again

I have my CD right in front of me, about 50 miles from you. Send me your e-mail and I can zip it up for you.

its all right here:
http://www.bailey-eng.com/Translator...20CD%204.2.zip

but the bin is already loaded in the unit, its a generic table that everyone runs.

Once the install and configuration is complete/correct. It will run pretty well, and you can tune from there.
