Questions about mail in flash

I'm considering getting a mail in ECU flash for my Evo for christmas. Its a 06 MR that is currently bone stock. I'm currently reviewing the vendors that have mail in flash available and trying to decide which one to go with. As far as I can tell nobody could say this one or that one is the "BEST" tune so I'm looking at other deciding factors. I'd say the main factor to me would be which tuner comes down to South Texas (Austin / San Antonio / Rio Grande Valley) most often? In the future I'd like to upgrade to a full tune? Secondly I plan on doing a drop in filter and at least a cat back @ the same time. Does it matter which panel or exhaust I go with? So far I'm leaning towards the DynoFlash tune... Am I missing anything here that I should be ware of such as differences in the capabilities of these different vendors etc?

well i have a dynoflash mail in and it works great. boost holds steady at 20psi rather than dropping off. bottom end feels a lil bit better. Top end no longer feels like I pulled a parachute after 4500 rpm. But also I would recommend getting an afc with a mail in flash. That way you can tune the airfuel mixture to desired afr. with a custom flash afc not necessary because it will be done on a dyno

I was reading earlier that the mail in dynoflash is not available for the IX's yet. I guess I'll have to wait or get tuned in person.

Yea, I was going to let them announce if the tune was available or not. I think the dynoflash is ready actually but Al would need to make his own announcement.

I am also interested in getting a mail in tune... but I do have a question:-

I'm in Hong Kong with a JDM Evo IX GSR. Would a mail in tune from the US still work?

And if I do upgrade a part... say exhaust or something else, do I have to keep paying full price for a new mail in tune? Or would it be reduced price or free? Obviously this would only work for combinations available for a flash.

What I could do is match parts locally... so if a mail in flash is available for JDM IX GSR with 3" TBE then I could buy it locally (since it would probably be prohibitively expensive to ship the TBE from USA to HK)... would this work?
