Misc questions

This completely elimnates the stock mass air. Does it plug into the mas air sensor plug to keep the cel form coming on?

What type of intakes are you guys running just a reg pipe to bypass the maf?
How much added power are people seeing

How well does the boost control work better than a mbc?

You set a target air/fuel and no matter what it sticks to it? The factory coolant enrichment doesnt have any control over making the car go as much as 1 point richer etc?

I'm still in the tuning phases, and actually having some response issues that I'm trying to work through, but I can answer some questions. The boost control works pretty well. You can keep the wastegate completely closed during spool to speed it up, and then you set a starting duty cycle. After that, the MAFTpro will monitor boost and adjust the duty cycle to maintain your desired boost level. This helps eliminate the taper. I can explain it better if you need, it sounds better in my head than it does when I type it.

The target A/F ratio works well also. In a similar fashion to boost control, you get it close to where you want it, then it will monitor A/F ratios and adjust your tune slightly to keep the A/F ratios where you want them.

Both boost control and A/F ratio tracking have adjustable gain, so you can control how quickly it tries to return you to your desired level.

Hope this helps,

Paul

Good explanation Paul.

No, you do not need to plug anything into the maf plug. The Maftpro outputs the MAF HZ, air temp, barometric signals to the ECU on it's own. This is everything the stock MAF does so it no longer serves a purpose and could be put on a shelf.

Paul, send me a PM if you need help with the response settings as ours is as driveable as stock or better.

Sounds funny but you guys need to get this front motor mount from powerflex. It makes driveability and starts from standstills so much smoother. It is available at www.ttp-engineering.com/store. Just put one in Sun night and wow, this makes the car so much more easy to drive with 280/280, maftpro and on and on.
